Teleseminar:
Safe Haven Results in Criminal Cases to Avoid Deportation
Two
90 minute Conferences on:
"Safe
Havens" (non-deportable criminal dispositions). This
teleseminar will cover valuable principles that can be used
to identify immigration-safe dispositions in criminal cases
and will supplement and provide a guide to our newest publication,
Safe Havens.
Session I:
The first 1 1/2 hour presentation will be a "how to"
guide on taking full advantage of the Safe Havens practice
manual, and will cover "General Safe Havens" - safe
dispositions that prevent deportation under any of the conviction-based
grounds of deportability, including non-conviction dispositions
and effective post-conviction relief.
Session II:
The second session will feature nationwide coverage of the
safe havens available for drug offenses, i.e., dispositions
in drug cases that do not trigger any of the grounds of deportation.
